PROJECT OVERVIEW
I aimed to revitalize Desert Works Propulsion's (DWP) online presence and brand identity. With DWP boasting over 80 combined years of aerospace engineering expertise, I aimed to showcase their position as pioneers, experts, and innovators. By leveraging their unparalleled experience, I led the initiative to refine their brand identity, highlighting their industry-leading status and demonstrating the cost-effectiveness of partnering with DWP compared to assembling an in-house team with equivalent expertise. I aimed to elevate DWP's brand perception through strategic design and branding decisions and solidify its reputation as a trailblazer in aerospace technology.
OBJECTIVE
As the strategist for this project, my primary objective was to orchestrate a comprehensive transformation of Desert Works Propulsion's (DWP) brand identity and online platform. With DWP's distinguished reputation in aerospace engineering, boasting over 80 combined years of expertise, I aimed to solidify its position as an unrivaled industry leader and attract new leads. Beyond mere rebranding, the project was a strategic endeavor to fortify DWP's digital footprint. It made significant strides in improving accessibility compliance and optimizing SEO strategies to amplify visibility and broaden its reach within the aerospace sector. Through meticulous design and strategic planning, I sought to position DWP as the go-to choice for innovative propulsion technology, captivating audiences and paving the way for unparalleled growth and recognition in the industry.
Strategic Branding Elements
Logo Redesign
The logo was reimagined to capture the essence of DWP's commitment to innovation and its ties to New Mexico. Drawing inspiration from the region's rugged landscape, the updated logo features clean lines and bold typography, conveying a sense of strength and sophistication.
Social Media Presence
In addition to creating a LinkedIn page, a comprehensive social media strategy was implemented, complete with a meticulously crafted content calendar and visually striking social graphics. These efforts aimed to enhance DWP's online visibility and engagement, fostering connections with industry professionals and potential partners.
SEO Optimization + ADA Compliance
The website redesign prioritized SEO optimization to improve DWP's online visibility and attract organic traffic. Additionally, ensuring ADA compliance was a top priority, reflecting DWP's commitment to accessibility and inclusivity for all users.
Elevated Marketing Materials
Working in tandem with the copywriter, a diverse array of print and digital marketing materials were developed to showcase DWP's capabilities and expertise. From tradeshow pamphlets to pitch decks, each piece was meticulously crafted to convey DWP's professionalism and commitment to excellence.

Achievements + Impact
Navigating the complex aerospace landscape required extensive research and collaboration to bridge knowledge gaps and understand competitive dynamics. Overcoming these challenges involved close collaboration with technical experts and deep market research to position DWP as a leader in propulsion technology.
Since the new website launched less than two months ago, DWP has experienced a 43% increase in total page views and a 148% increase in unique visitors compared to the year's previous first quarter. In the first month of launch, the new site had a 33% increase in time spent on the website on average. Notably, there was no dip in viewership or increase in bounce rates during the website transition, indicating seamless execution and user retention.
